    Hi Lora,

I’m a relatively novice knitter and love the idea of a “knit-in”. Can you let me know if the group still meets in Midleton on Wednesdays? And also, where exactly in Midleton is Knit?

    Thanks
    Mags

I’m looking for someone to alter a crochet costume for me. It’s an upcycled Edwardian crochet dress and I need it to be made smaller. The maker (in the US) advised me that it is a simple enough matter as the sides are like ‘patches’ of crochet sewn together. If anyone is adept at crochet and willing to quote me for this please get in touch to see the garment. My number is 087 939 6423. Mea.

    Hi all,

My name is Jennifer and I work for Age Action South. We support older people in Cork through our Care and Repair Programme and Getting Started Computer Training courses.

Each year we run a charity event called ‘The Big Knit’ through Innocent Drinks. You might have seen the cute wool knitted hats on top of the innocent Drinks bottles nationwide.

I have been given the challenge of sourcing knitters in Cork area to knit 10,000 hats for our 2017 campaign.

Do you think any of you would be willing to help me. We will provide all the knitting patterns for all different levels of knitters. I am more than happy to come talk to Wilton and Midelton group about this if you like.

So any takers? 10,000 hats is alot but I think Cork can do it!!

    Many thanks
    Jennifer
