Knitting & Crochet Groups

There are lots of knitting & crochet groups meeting up all over the country.

Here I will try to keep track of them all, sorted by county.

If you know of any groups not listed, please leave a comment to this post and I’ll update the list!

I cannot guarantee that these groups are all still active. If you are unsure, please contact the venue before going along.

    Hi,
Just wanted to add ours to your list if that’s ok?
We meet every Wednesday from 7.30-9.30pm and every other Saturday 11.30am-1pm at Knit in Midleton, Co. Cork. There’s no need to book just turn up, each session costs €2.50, the kettle is always on and there is usually something sweet and sticky to munch on.
Tel Lora on 0851578969 or email at knitmidleton@yahoo.co.uk

The Dunshaughlin Knitting Circle meets in the Dunshaughlin Library in Co. Meath every Tuesday from 1.30-3pm during termtime and continued through the Summer last year. Beginners and crocheters are welcome. Everybody (usually 3-7 people) is very welcoming and the library is tolerant of youngsters tearing around the place (popular with mothers doing 2pm and 3pm school pick-ups across the road). The library has ordered a host of beautiful books on knitting and crochet and provides tea/coffee and a biscuit foc
